Attorney General Tong Joins Coalition in Support of EPA Proposal to Restore California Waiver for Clean Car Standards
Attorney General William Tong today joined a coalition of 22 attorneys general, as well as the cities of Los Angeles, New York, Oakland, San Francisco and San Jose, in support of the EPA’s proposal to restore California’s waiver under the Clean Air Act for its greenhouse gas and zero emission vehicle (ZEV) programs.

Attorney General Tong Announces Multistate Settlement with American Medical Collection Agency Over 2019 Data Breach
Attorney General William Tong today announced that Connecticut, as part of a coalition of 41 attorneys general, has settled with Retrieval-Masters Creditors Bureau d/b/a American Medical Collection Agency (“AMCA”) resolving a multistate investigation into the 2019 data breach that exposed the personal information of over 7 million individuals, including 100,266 Connecticut residents and potentially exposed the personal information of up to 21 million individuals throughout the United States.
