Connecticut Behavioral Health Clinician Group Pays $100K to Settle False Claims Allegations
Attorney General William Tong and John H. Durham, United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut, today announced that Neil Quatrano, and his business, Behavioral Management, LLC, have entered into a civil settlement agreement with the federal and state governments and will pay more than $100,000 to resolve allegations that they violated the federal and state False Claims Acts.

State Secures Custody of Neglected Horses, Announces Adoption Process
Attorney General William Tong and Agriculture Commissioner Bryan P. Hurlburt today announced the state has secured custody of eight formerly malnourished and severely neglected horses seized from Laurel Ledge Farm in Oakdale. After extensive medical care and rehabilitation at the state’s Second Chance Large Animal Rehabilitation Program in Niantic, Attorney General Tong and Commissioner Hurlburt announced today the horses are available for public adoption.

Seagull, Acting Consumer Counsel Richard Sobolewski, and the Public Utility Regulatory Authority’s Office of Education Outreach and Enforcement today announced a $400,000 settlement with third-party electric supplier Town Square Energy, resolving claims that the company’s marketing tactics violated state consumer protection laws.
