When will I hear from the Judicial Review Council?
We will notify you within five days after we receive your complaint. Once we receive your complaint, we review it and share it with the Council members.
How long does the review take?
The time needed to review and investigate a complaint depends on the facts and complexity of the case.
Some complaints take longer than others to complete.
Can my complaint be expedited?
No. We do not expedite complaint investigations.
Filing a complaint does not place it on the current month's Council agenda.
Will my complaint remain confidential?
Complaint information is confidential as provided by law.
We cannot share information about your complaint with anyone other than the original complainant.
What are the possible outcomes?
After reviewing your complaint, we may:
- Find that judicial misconduct occurred
- Find that judicial misconduct did not occur
- Dismiss the complaint
