What we do and how we’re organized

The Judicial Review Council (JRC) reviews complaints about Connecticut judges, family support magistrates, and administrative law judges. Founded in 1969, we help support public trust in the judicial system. State law guides our work and sets standards for conduct and accountability. Members represent the judiciary, the legal profession, and the public.

Our Council includes:

  • Three judges
  • Three attorneys
  • Six public members
  • Alternate members who serve as needed
