The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that guide rail upgrades will be performed on Route 44 in Coventry from Twin Hill Drive to North River Road. This project is scheduled to occur on Monday, December 23, 2024, and be completed on Friday, January 24, 2025. No work will be performed around any scheduled holidays.
This project is being performed by Atlas Industrial Services.
LANE CLOSURE/DETOUR INFO
There will be right lane and shoulder closures on Route 44 in Coventry starting Monday, December 23, 2024, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Traffic control signing patterns, trailer mounted attenuators and certified flaggers will guide motorists through the work zone.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area. No work will be performed around any scheduled holidays.
