How to get a mobile ID

Your smartphone must meet these OS requirements to enroll:
  • Android - version 12 or newer
  • iOS - iOS 16 or newer

Required identification:

  • Your most recently issued, unexpired Connecticut driver’s license or state ID
  • Make sure there is no wear, damage, or scratch marks on either side of your ID [emphasize this tip, below]

Photo setup tips

  • Place your ID on a dark, flat surface
  • Use good lighting in the room (reduce glare and shadows)
